Gossamer is a private messaging service that lets two people connect and chat without exchanging phone numbers, emails, or any personal information. Connections are made by scanning QR codes.
Accounts are created automatically when you first open Gossamer. There's no signup form, no email verification, no phone number required. Your account is a "ghost account"—a random identifier tied to your device via a cryptographic key.

Either person can end a thread at any time. When a thread is ended, it's gone. You cannot reopen it or message that person again unless they share a new QR code with you.
This is by design. It gives both parties an easy, no-drama exit. In Gossamer, "End Thread" means the conversation is over—not "blocked," just ended.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in California. Gossamer is a project of Third Saturday Software, LLC, a California limited liability company.
